Tokio Hotel is formed by Visual Vocal Bill Kaulitz, Hip Hop Guitarist Tom who has dreadlocks and is the elder twin, Bassist Georg Listing and drummer Gustav Schaefer. Since they debuted, they have got 3 NO.1 albums, 4 NO.1 singles, 10 platinum records and 40 different awards from various countries including Best Newcomer of VMA 2008 and Best Band of the European Music Awards 2009. They are very popular, a hundred percent! This is their first time to visit Taiwan, they will occupy your vision and raid your hearing. Did you google Taiwan before you came? TH: Not really (laughter). This is the first time of us to visit Asia and we think this place is very mysterious. We come another part of the world so we felt really warm when we knew that we had so many fans here. Have you ever listened to any music of Taiwan singers? TH: No, we still havent had this chance but we do want to know more about the kinds of music that Taiwan people are listening to. What is the first Chinese word that you learnt? TH: Our band name Tokio Hotel. On the press conference, there were children who wore shirts with our band name on them and the host told us about it. Ha, those children are really cute! (the editor: those 4 children, good job! If anyone has photos of them please provide them to us.) What is your first impression of Taiwan fans? TH: We dont think they are crazy, but they are beautiful (Woahh). We saw a lot of fans welcoming us at the airport and they had made some posters with German on them. There were also fans who drew portraits of us which was very touching. Taiwan fans always follow the rules and are polite, we think that they are one of the best group of our fans. (Is it true?) Why are you so obsessed with Tokyo? TH: We came from a small town of Germany so we always want to see the outside world. We knew there was a city called Tokyo when we were small and it soundsed like it had many amazing stuff there. Although we still havent been to Tokyo, we hope we can have the chance soon so we can perform for our fans there. Please list your favourite top 5 hotels. TH: The ones that we have deepest impression are the hotels in Madrid, Moscow, Paris and Berlin. Of course the Taiwan hotel that we are staying in is great too! (editor: graceful answer.) When did you start to be vegetarians? TH: We cant remember, but the reason is very simple that we dont want to kill animals. We humans should not take away animals lives because of our desires and nothing bad would happen even if we didn�¿½�¿�½�¿½�¿½�¬�¿½�¿½�¢t eat meat! (laughter) You have 4 dogs, Do you mind telling us their names? Could you share their photos with us? Who is responsible for taking care of them when you are on tour? TH: Sorry we cant tell their names as this is our little secret (laughter). Our parents are also dog lovers so they will take care of our dogs when we are not at home. We have to thank them! (laughter) Have you ever think of having other jobs besides singers and rock stars? Such as a professional make up artist? TH: Frankly I have never thought about it because we were a band when we were small and it feels like we are always doing things related to music. I never think of others job like policeman or fireman, music is the most important thing to us. Lastly, can you use the songs in your new album Humanoid to describe yourselves? TH: It is very hard to use the songs to describe our looks or feelings because every song is about different aspect and they are like our kids. I dont have a favourite one but if I must choose one, I will choose Automatic because this song tells about the advanced technologies and their impacts on human relationships. If I werent a fan before meeting Tokio Hotel, I certainly am one now. There is absolutely everything to like them. Their music is out of this world, they are larger than life showmen onstage and in person, they are the coolest, funniest guys you could have the pleasure of hanging out with. The best perk though about being a Tokio Hotel fan is the guys absolutely treasure you. During Galaxies 15-minute interview with Tokio Hotel on their visit here in Malaysia, it was impossible to get a straight answer from Bill and Tom Kaulitz, George Listing or Gustav Schafer. However, when it comes to matters of their fans, the guys are dead serious. Which is why, Tokio Hotel were absolutely thrilled to answer your questions received via Twitter and Facebook. Be advised though that it was hard to keep a straight face at some of their answers. Since quite a number of questions on our list concerned Bills hair, we decided to go with that first. Bill, can you explain why there is a worldwide obsession with your hair? Bill: I dont know. I just like to experiment and try new things out with my hair. Before this, I had dreadlocks. Bill, have you tried to convince the rest of the guys to do hair? makeovers? Bill: I hope they would, but ... Tom, George, Gustav: No! Never, ever. Tokio Hotel, since you guys are clearly living the dream are there any dreams that you havent fulfilled? Bill: One of our dreams as a band that we really wish for is to go to Tokyo. We've never been there yet. A Grammy award would also be nice. Tom, whats the reason you wont have a tattoo? Tom: I dont know. Ive thought about it. Bill: Hes afraid. Hes scared to get a tattoo. Bill, if you had your own fashion collection what kind of clothes would it include? Bill: I cant decide if it will be the stuff I wear or something completely different. But I do know that I really want to do something in the future that involves a collection because I love to design and be creative when it comes to fashion. Is George still messing up his chords? Tom: (joking) He can't play good bass. George: Thats not true. Tom: I dont know why because I taught Gustav the drums and he plays really well but I cant seem to teach George. He is not talented. I think that is the main problem. George: That's not true, thats not true. Tokio Hotel, what are you going to do with all your stage costumes and The Dogs Unleashed motorbike once the tour wraps? Bill: Thats going to be intersting when the time comes beause my closets at home are already full. I have no place to put them! The motorbike, we thought of putting in the garden. Bill, have you ever gone public without your makeup? Bill: When im on vacation or travelling I dont usually have makeup on and thats not really a problem for me. But then again, I also feel more like myslef when I do. Bill and Tom, you've mentioned being more than twins. What does that mean? Tom: We are identical twins and the connection between us is very strong. We are like soulmates as well. I know what he is thinking the second he thinks it. Bill: I guess you could say we are almost like one person. George and Gustav, what is it like working with Tom and Bill? Bill: I think it is an honour for them to be working with us. George: Sometimes it is a little bit annoying because the talk the whole day. But, we have been a band for 10 years and we feel more like brothers. Tokio Hotel, what do you think of Asian girls? Tom: Really good! We were in Singapore and we saw some fans, and a lot of them are very beautiful girls. And it's the same when we arrived in Malaysia. All good, really good. At a signing session at a Media Markt abroad, he appeared with a hairstyle very reminiscent of the late Elvis. And the hair stands �€“ thanks to the overwhelming amount of hair spray. His hair really looks great. It can not be said about the number of the visitors of the current Humanoid-Tour. Finally there was a lot of empty places. Nearly 4.500 fans were on average at the concerts. For example: In Zurich, there were just 5.000 from the 13.000 places. In Wien (16.000 places) there were just nearly 4.000 visitors. |

Unfortunately our tour is already over. thanks so much to everyone joining the shows...we had terrific concerts and so much fun! All fans who made it to our final show in Paris the day before yesterday also had the pleasure to experience a huge highlight! Georg performed a concert without (barely) any mistakes. No kidding, he hit almost each and every note right ;-) On top of that, I had a show without any flaws which makes me the one and only who had a perfect concert run. Well, I guess the other three did okay as well... ;-)       |

Posted on 08 Apr 2010 by leldish |     Tokio Hotel concert in Belgrade - A Typhoon swept the Arena away The fans in Serbia can finally breathe easily. A Typhoon called Tokio Hotel swept the Arena completely, after which nobody felt indifferent. Bravo was there, at the scene... Welcome to Humanoid City! At exactly 8:30 pm the light go down in the Arena and screaming of a few thousand fans is filling up the whole Arena. The intro has started, and the reflectors are lightning up the huge capsule at the stage centre, on which the lead singer Bill Kaulitz (20) comes out, hidden under the sunglasses, as the first song starts - Noise. Beside him is his brother Tom (20) on the guitar and the long-haired bassist Georg Listing (23), which are given a strong rhytm from 3 meters above - at the drums, Gustav Schafer (21). The first thing that is very noticeable are the amazing lightning effects and the stage, which is designed as a city from a science-fiction movie. Almost without a break, the band starts Human Connect To Human, but the real chaos starts with the fenomenal Break Away from the album Scream. During the concert the band member show excellent skills with their instruments, as the sound which was filling the Arena sounded like perfection. Four members of the band kept us entertained for more than an hour and a half, mixing their good old hits with new songs from their album Humanoid. The song that created the biggest fuss was surely World Behind My Wall. However, the biggest moment of this amazing night was the encore, when the entire crowd sang the biggest hit with Bill - it is Monsoon, a song that launched TH among the start in 2005. And after the concert, the smiles on the fans faces said it all - they were the most important critics of this spectacular music event - what Tokio Hotel gave us on the 28th was trully Fantastisch! translation: Goga (THSerbia) |

In a few days and finally begins: Tokio Hotel live on stage! On 22nd, February will start the huge Humanoid-Europe Tour in Luxemburg. On 26th February, Bill, Tom (both 20), Gustav (21) and Georg (22) will play in Oberhausen, and on 28th February in Hamburg. And what is that BRAVO have already known: Bill will go the stage in an amazing, spacey outfit, wicc desinged by the fashion label, DSquared2. In addition, the guys will bring to the stage their crazy elekto sound from their latest album Humanoid, it will be the first time when you hear synthetisator in a TH-Show. Mega-Surprise: Tom will not play only guitar, but he will perform with piano with his twin brother! Altogether the Band will have 32 concerts in 19 countries. Madness: 11 truck will transport the stage and the equipments. The crew (50 employees including 4 chef! ) and Tokio Hotel travel by 6 buses and 17.000 miles over Europe! Nasty love lie Excitement around Bill! The 21 years old Dennis K. told to Bild-newspaper: Bill stole my girlfriend! His Pinky (21), cemetery gardener from Thuringen, allegedly now together with Tokio Hotels frontman. Pardon? The Tokio Hotel Twins are currently relaxing on the Maledives Wintertime means Vacation-Time for Bill and Tom Kaulitz (20): And like every year the twins flew 8000 km to the Maledives. There they rented a room in a luxury resort on the for 2500 per night! The Twins are sleeping in a water Villa directly on the sea. Equipment: 4 Flatscreen Tvs, an own Pool and an own Butler! But this time the two want to experience a little bit Action apart from the well-deserved rest: With a Jet-Ski (about 100km/h) the rockstars are chasing around in the indian ocean. Or go diving in the sea. But the cool vacation also means charging their batteries for the boys from Tokio Hotel: On February 22nd they will start touring through Europe with their Humanoid City-Tour [32 Concerts]. With those skinny pigtails on the scalp, she looks like Tom’s secret and supercool sister. Manga-hairstyle: Bills magnificent head of hair of 2005 is already legendary by now! With this hairstyle the Tokio Hotel frontman became famous. The US singer Adam Lambert presented an obvious copy newly. The second place finisher of the TV casting show American Idol became a big star in his home country in the meantime and professing Bill Fan! Adam admits: Anyone else fascinated with Bill Kaulitz? Never seen a more gloriously androgynous beauty. He is like an alien. Awesome role models! The whole showbiz lives on the ideas of these four boys! Torched instruments, rainstorms on stage, hairs in style of manga or gangsta: Tokio Hotel surprise with cool live effects and look changes again and again. Shock and Thrill Understandably, they called purposely we had tried to arrange an interview with TH guys for some days already. But the guys were terribly busy they were shooting the new video clip. Finally, they found some time for us and gathered together near a phone amazingly enough, all four of them. Though Bill was the only one who spoke most of the time as usual. Bravo: Hi! At first our congratulations! Your album became golden in Russia. Are you satisfied with the work you have done? Bill: We have just learned about it. We are overwhelmed with joy because we have put a lot of energy, nerves, our own emotions, and love into the record on the whole, it is a wonderful feeling when your work evokes positive responses from your listeners. Bravo: Did you face any difficulties while recording the album? Bill: As any creative process, recording of a new album is always hard. First of all, we want to say thank you to a great number of people who supported us all that time when we were making recordings. We received a great number of pleasant messages which helped us to stay tuned. Our friends, relatives, co-workers all of them affected us one way or another. The album turned out lyrical, I think. Bravo: How did your perception of music and yourselves change for four years of your career? Bill: We were greenhorns. It seemed that it was so easy to turn the whole world upside down. One needs just to make a little effort. Though even today we think the same. From the very beginning, we set a lot of goals which we want to achieve. Some of them are yet to be achieved. As far as the changes are concerned, we were able to get out of Europe. We began small, and today we play in huge halls and stadiums. Tremendous feeling! Bravo: Do you think you have already written your best song or is it yet to come? Tom and Bill: Hm-m-m Frankly speaking, we have so many good songs about almost everything in this world, but we sincerely hope that our best song is yet to come! Have you ever had any desire to write your own song-manifest? Bill: A good question! I think it is a good idea to open a personeyes to the world around him with the help of music. Music was created for changing people. I like the idea when art and creativity can prompt someone to action. He will go outside and try to change the world for the better. It is possible that we might write a song like that. It is all very possible. Bravo: We know that you are big fans of Twilight Saga, are not you? Bill: Oh, yes. We simply adore it! For instance, I watched the first movie several times. And each time I reveal something new there. Unfortunately, I have not seen New Moon yet. Bravo: But will you be able to see it? Bill: I really hope I will. In the nearest future. Bravo: Here, in the editorial office, we ask everyone our favorite question, Are you fans of Edward or Jacob? All of the 3 bands released very strong new Albums in 2009 but in reflection you have to say that the quartet from Magdeburg is leading with their Album. The third Tokio Hotel Album Å“Humanoid is, despite the image of the band, a thoroughly successful, multi-faceted, and especially soulful outcry. What you did not expect from the Band, but what you have to admit, after half-listening to their Album: With their great lyrics the Band processes important issues, which may be teenage-topics but are not especially those sensitivities important in our society? Humanoi is also musically a great Album. Every single note fits perfeclty in the superb-effective Band around the Kaulitz-Brothers Rammstein on the other hand act strangely tense and Silbermond are caught between experimenting and a safe song. Singer Bill Kaulitz has matured into a gifted entertainer, he holds the balance between a wonderfully entertaining swagger and a painfully open mind Strip. Even songs like Alien, Geisterfahrer or Fur immer jetzt, which youprobably think of as not so good after listening to the songs the first time, or Hunde, Sonnensystem and the goosebump anthem Lass uns Laufen which are very catchy songs, developed into perennial favorites. Posted on 24 Dec 2009 by leldish |     Vocalist of german band Tokio hotel Bil Kaulitz dream of every girl: he is not like everyone else, he is talented and lonely. In I love you Bill is talking about real love, consequences of being famous and changes in his life. About sweet dreams I think that all members of band would be sleeping all the time and being just lazy, but we just don’t have an opportunity to do that. (I am not 100%sure it is correct ) I am night person and I am fine with it. I go to bed around 4 a.m. and I would gladly wake up around 2 P.M. But I rarely have enough sleep. Often I have to forget that I love to sleep on comfortable mattresses with soft blankets, and just take a nap anywhere I can at the free time available. So, do not be surprised if one day I will fall asleep at some event or a show – it can easily happened. About hair. Since childhood I paid attention to what I wear. It is possible that there were days back then when I looked ridiculous, but at that time I liked it, so it is OK. You do not need to be ashamed of your past. Right now I have found my own style, but it doese not matter that I will not change it for the rest of my life. Everyone was so surprised when I change my hairstyle. Believe me; my desire to change it surprised me myself. I just changed my hair and don’t regret it at all. You can not always be the same. On Humanoid there a new sound and on my head I have an excellent Iroquois. You have to rejoice the changes but not to be afraid of them. About family I am very lucky that I have my family. Mom always supported us and stepfather helped to find our true calling. After we left the house I was calling them 5 times a day to just be able to hear their voices. But loneliness is not really scary for me because I always have my brother Tom with me. No, honestly, I think even when we will be grown up men we will buy a huge house and will still live together. Tom is my closest friend; I can sense what’s happening in his soul. About sex Those who think that I am gay are just very limited people, who think stereotypes. Yes, there is that notion in the world: Gay should look like that… But how can you say that I am gay, just because I care what I look like and that I look different. I am tired to deny this rumor and try to explain myself. Let people think what they want to think. It is their rights. And the fact that I did not have a girlfriend for a long time is definitely not the reason to say that I am gay. It is just the sex without love is nothing to me. And I think it pretty normal. About food. I can eat everything I want, because I don’t gain weight. Some people even think that I have anorexia. But if they would come with me to dinner sometimes they would absolutely change their mind. (laugh). I can eat two pizzas and finish everything with Coca-cola. And I also can not live without coffee. About girls. I am sure I will know immediately that she is the One if I will meet her. Someone probably will think that I am insane or stupid romantic, but it’s not that – I really believe in love with first sight and forever. But for now relationship is not possible: firstly – there is no change that I will meet a girl, since I am always with huge bodyguards. And even though they are pretty good guys, it would spoil the intimate moment. Second, I am not ready to meat a girl who already has some kind of opinion of me without knowing me personally, that is why relationship with a fan is impossible. But even those who are not into our music still will see me through the prism of articles in newspapers and rumors. There is one other moment against serious relationship. If I ever fall in love I will want to spend all my time with her, but it means to forget about music and career. That is why I am still single. And I do not see problem with it. I learned to find a pleasure in other different things. About a fame My dream came true, I became super popular. But it has its minuses. Sometimes you do not want to rely on the help of other people but go and buy something in the store yourself for example. But in reality my personal assistant is doing it for me. Fame gives you a freedom but the same time it is taking freedom away. It is very complicated thing. But I would not change anything. I would not want to live differently. |

You will find the weird answers here! What would you have been working with if you were not in Tokio Hotel? Bill: We would have been unemployed musicians. Tom: I would also consider myself to be a lazy policeofficer. Bill, how much time and money do you spend on your hair?? Bill: It takes maximum 10 mins on the morning. How much money I spend? Pretty normal I think, not very much. It depends on how much it cost at the hairdresser, a few hundred Euros. Otherwise I actually only use hairspray. Tom, what happened with your dreadlocks? Tom: One beautiful day they got ripped out of my head. Now they are sold to a maximum bid on e-bay! Haha, okey..? And how did this happened? Tom: I can not say, it is not very nice. That is why we are talking so loud. Bill: Yes, and when our hearing got even worse, then it is because we hear super loud music and not because of alls the screaming. By the way, that is the most wicked thing that exists! We think it is great that our Fans scream they are emotions out loud. BILD: On February 28th you will play a concert at the Color Line Arena. What can your Fans be excited about? Bill: It will not just be a live concert, it will be a very, very big Show. We designed a really cool stage with a stage designer from London with Pyrotechnics, a LED-Wall and a lot of moving elements. We will be going on Tour with 2 Tour Busses and more than 10 Trucks. BILD: Lets change the subject! Bill, is it true that you did not have a girlfriend since you were 15? Bill: Yes. BILD: Not enough time? Bill: It is not only because of that. If I would be in love, I would leave everything behind I would even leave the city or the country I live in. The man said he hit drummer Gustav Schaefer on the head with a beer glass in a Magdeburg disco late Saturday night. The alleged attacker presented himself to investigators and gave a partial confession, saying he had not specifically targeted the band member, the police said. Posted on 17 Jul 2009 by LAZLO |   Due to the horrible events that happened last weekend with Gustav, and knowing how cool and awesome TH fans are after supporting Tom during the stalkers incident, TH US forum is making a Support Gustav Campaign with the objective of letting him know that we're with him, we support and care for him, we hope he gets well soon. The main idea is to make 3-4 minutes long video with photos where we are holding notes with supporting text for Gustav. This video will be sent to TH management or someone from their staff. We will try to get this video to be posted on Tom's blog, cool, huh? :) INFORMATION ABOUT PHOTOS 1. All pictures must be 800x600 in size, and must weight below 300kb which is a pretty decent quality. 2. The pictures should contain a small message, drawing or note directed to Gustav. If you want to include your name or not it's up to you, but please include your country, that's super important. 3. You don't have to be in the picture if you don't want to but you have to take it personally, be original and creative. Graphics are ok but preferable pictures that were actually taken. 4. One guest hit the musician over the head with 2 beerbottles. hurting him really bad. Gustav had to be stitched up in the hospital with 36 stitches. the police is pressing charges for dangerous bodilyharm. One of the witnesses who saw the attack up close early sundaymorning in the Madgeburger disco "the Club" speaks. "Gustav was talking to a girl": Stefan Bartel said. (name changed by the editors) "all of a sudden a few guys were standing around them. One man with no hair on his head (skinhead) insulted Gustav. another guy came to them, and hit Gustav in his face, without warning. then a fight broke out between Gustav and the guy". The eyewitness continues: "the one guy let go of Gustav, then came back shortly after that from the right, and hit Gustav with the beerbottle, again without warning. when he fell back, he got hit with the second bottle. Gustav fell down on the floor, the attackers fleed. The guests in the club got nervous. Gustav was bleeding from his head really bad, they took him to the restroom. Shortly after the police and ambulance arrived". Chef of the club Panos Kondogtis told Bild: "Eventhough Gustav was hurt, he shook my hand and told me that he was sorry about what had happened, but he could not help it. he was very uncomfortable". The motive for the fight and the attackers are still unclear. "In this week we want to talk to 3 eyewisnesses, including the owner of the bar. The victim will be questioned as soon as possible as well", Police spokesman Stefan Brodtruch explains. they will also try to find out if the attack has something to do with the problems Tokio Hotel has been having with the Stalkergang from France. The gang had attacked the mother of Bill and Tom in the spring in front of their house. |

This mountain of crosses, which is named Kryziu kalnas, is somewhere in Lithuania close to the village Siauliai. It's a place of pilgrimage and each visitor brings a cross to leave there. From the looks of it, there have already been quite some people. To me this seems like a wicked location for a video shoot....what do you think? |

The event will take a place in the center of Berlin, at the Brandenburg Gate. It is in honor of the destruction of the Berlin's great wall. What can be even better than commemorating this day with a beautiful music on the background? The event will take a part at November 5th. |

Tokio Hotel's task was to create their own - special T-Shirt. Exactly the same, as they wanted to wear, if they had to tell all the world, that people have to beware of AIDS. Today a post made by the Universal Music has surfaced in which they say the album won’t be ready until September because they want to make it perfect and haven’t yet picked the singles, but they assure us they’ll make up for it with touring and promotional visits!  Hey people, They know that everyone’s waiting for it, but before the album is released some stuff still needs to happen. Perfect production, single choices, perfect timing ect… That’s why it sadly got delayed. I think the release will happen around september now… sorry! But count on it that the band will work their ASSES off with touring and promotional visits!! So for now a little …patience… |

He had refused to do that quite rudely and thrown a cigarette outside the window. The girl took the cigarette and started to damage Tom's car with it. Tom got mad and got out of the car, pushed the girl away. She fell down and got a head trauma. Tom drew away from the spot. The girl has made a charge against him for hurting her. Today the truth has been revealed.  David Jost, the manager and producer of Tokio Hotel arrived from Los Angeles and told the true story about this situation. Eyewitnesses say, that Tom has talked to that girl for a long time and tried to get rid of her, because she was too impolite and meddler. Tom pushed her away and she faked her fall. As it turns out, this girl and 3 more have followed Tokio Hotel boys for 6 MONTHS! They lived at their studio, attacked to neighbors, red their mail, thrown eggs at their cars, even ATTACKED TO BILL'S AND TOM'S MOTHER! And what is more, they even threatened to boys with letters. One says: “Attention!, attention!..We are unhappy. We become impatient. DO YOU UNDERSTAND US???” Tokio Hotel have charged them in chasing, property damage and other aspects. They choosed Audi, because it's their family tradition, and they encourages German economy, or at least the Automobile industry, which seems totally meaningful, considering the impending Opel catastrophe. Bill's choice was cella white Audi Q7. "That is exactly my car - I cannot imagine anymore driving any other car," raves singer Bill and immediately explains the highlights of his new Audi Q7. Especially the relation of sportiness and comfort is the specialties of this model for him.  For his brother Tom, who opposedly labels himself as "sports car fanatic", R8 is the right choice. "I stand on big cars and I'd like to go on a race track with it."  |
Posted on 29 Mar 2009 by LAZLO |   07.03.2009 evening Bill and his borther Tom were surprise guests at the Aftershow part to ''Gefhrliches Halbwissen'', the new comedy-show from Oliver Pocher. At the end of May and latest the beginning of June the third album will be released - and Bill doesn't just want to show a new song, but also want to surprise with a new Bill. Bill has longer hair now, adorned with white, delicate dreadlocks and banded in tail with glossy hair band.  A drastic change - but just 1 of 2 parts, cause also his eye make-up needed a new look. With the black eyeliner Bill used a strong rust red eye shadow on Saturday evening in Puro.  |

In one moment we hear, that band will perform 60 concerts in France, but in second - Bill will play a violin in some songs by him own. At the moment boys want to keep their "blow" in secret and promise something new, shocking and awesome. As for us - fans - we just have to keep on waiting! When news about the Album shows up, we will immediately inform you here and on the fan forum. Stay tuned! Some save sources notify, that songs are very good and will absolutely make happy everyone, who is waiting them with all heart and soul. <3 |
